Warranty Policy
At RayTech, we stand behind the quality of our products and services. Our warranty policy is designed to give you peace of mind, knowing that your technology investment is protected.
Our Warranty Promise
Every product sold by RayTech Kenya Limited is genuine and comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty periods vary by product and brand — the exact cover for your item is stated on the product page and printed on your invoice.
Your invoice or official RayTech receipt is your warranty certificate. Please keep it safe: we cannot process a claim without proof of purchase, and we recommend keeping the original packaging for at least the first 14 days.
Types of Cover

Manufacturer Warranty
Brand‑new laptops, desktops, printers and networking gear carry the manufacturer's own warranty, honoured through their authorised service centres in Kenya. We handle the paperwork and the hand‑over for you.
- 🛡️ 12 – 36 months, brand dependent
- 🏷️ Covers manufacturing & component defects
- 📄 Invoice + serial number required

RayTech Limited Warranty
Ex‑UK, refurbished and open‑box items are tested in‑house before sale and carry a RayTech shop warranty. Custom PC builds are covered on the individual components plus our own workmanship.
- 🛡️ 3 – 12 months, stated on invoice
- 🔧 Repair first, replace if unrepairable
- 🖥️ Includes custom build workmanship

Accessories & Consumables
Cables, keyboards, mice, toners and cartridges are covered against dead‑on‑arrival faults and defects. Consumables are replaced if faulty on first use — not once partially used.
- 🛡️ 7 days DOA, up to 6 months on defects
- 🔄 Like‑for‑like replacement
- 📦 Original packaging preferred
What Cover Includes
Warranty covers faults that are not your fault: manufacturing defects, component failure under normal use, dead pixels beyond the manufacturer threshold, faulty ports, batteries that fail prematurely, and units that arrive dead on arrival.
It does not cover physical or liquid damage, cracked screens, burnt boards from power surges, unauthorised repairs or opened units, missing or altered serial numbers, software issues, viruses, lost data, or normal wear such as battery capacity that declines gradually over time.
Not sure which side your issue falls on? Talk to our support team — we'll assess it honestly before you travel to the shop.
